Several convenience stores across Los Angeles and Orange counties were targeted by a group of male thieves May 19 and May 20.
Law enforcement reported they jumped the counters of at least several stores and grabbed cash registers before fleeing in a car.
There have been no arrests.
Several suspects, described as black males wearing dark clothing, entered stores in Anaheim, located in Orange County, starting Sunday night. The robbers fled in what police say was a dark-colored SUV, according to Anaheim police Sgt. Jon McClintock.
“We had three robberies tonight, and we believe these robberies are connected to other robberies in other jurisdictions,” Mr. McClintock said in a statement provided to The Epoch Times. “We are working with surrounding agencies to investigate these incidents.”
The robberies appear to have occurred at stores located just off Interstate 91, also known as the Riverside Freeway.
