The Lord giveth: In 2023, Sen. Raphael Warnock quietly moved into a lavish Atlanta home brimming with luxury accommodations including a 100-bottle wine fridge and a “stunning” European bathroom with a remote-control privacy curtain. The Georgia Democrat sold his previous Atlanta home shortly after he moved in. But he didn’t need the proceeds from that sale to cover any costs associated with his new pad because Warnock’s Ebenezer Baptist Church footed the bill.
Public records obtained by the Free Beacon‘s Andrew Kerr show that the church, where Warnock maintains a perch as part-time senior pastor, snapped up the home for nearly $1 million in October 2022. State law bars the church from collecting rent on the home, so Warnock lives rent-free.
