Rep. Troy Balderson (R-OH) has said that the executive orders that President Donald Trump is enacting are “getting out of control,” and emphasized the need for Congress to fulfill its role as a legislative body.
Balderson was speaking at a Westerville Area Chamber of Commerce business luncheon on Thursday where he said, “Congress has to decide whether or not the Department of Education goes away. Not the president, not Elon Musk. Congress decides.” He said that while he respects everything that Trump is doing as well as the need for some of the executive orders from the president, “Congress has to do their work.”
