A married special needs teacher in New York is facing charges of sexual abuse of a schizophrenic teen after it was revealed in a lawsuit that that she was caught on video in the act. The lawsuit, filed by the boy’s mother, also accuses the school of negligence regarding the incident.
Sandy Carazas-Pinez, age 34, is accused of sexually absuing a 16-year-old student at Biondi High School. According to the lawsuit, classroom cameras show the teacher sexually abusing the boy but no one at the school was monitoring the video.
Following the student admitting to his mother that he had sex with the teacher multiple times, the principal examined the classroom video and found the teacher cuddling with the boy and asking him to “rub her crotch,” the lawsuit stated.
