This week, Gov. Maura Healey of Massachusetts launched a public education campaign to highlight “the dangers and potential harm of anti-abortion centers.” Pregnancy crisis centers were relabeled as “Anti-Abortion Centers” that seek to emotionally manipulate and misinform pregnant women about their options.

The ad campaign is the first of its kind in the United States. It began on June 10 and is projected to run for “many months this year,” according to the Massachusetts Department of Public Health Commissioner Robbie Goldstein.
