Footage has emerged of the moment Irish teacher Enoch Burke was arrested again outside the school that sacked him for refusing to ‘call a boy a girl’ – days after his father was seen lambasting gardai who had called looking for him.
The Evangelical Christian was yesterday placed inside a Garda vehicle outside Wilson’s Hospital School in Ireland’s Co Westmeath and driven to the Four Courts in Dublin.
He was back behind bars at Mountjoy Prison last night having already spent more than 400 days incarcerated there for repeatedly defying a High Court injunction banning him from the school’s grounds.
Mr Burke was seen engaging in a lengthy conversation with gardai outside the school gates yesterday before an officer grabbed him by the arms and pulled him towards a prison van in the unsettling clip released by family.
