A Texas teacher faces felony charges for allegedly recruiting and trafficking troubled teenagers at the high school where she worked. On April 8, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez announced the arrest of Kedria Grigsby, a 42-year-old cosmetology teacher at Klein Cain High School, with a statement on X.
According to Sheriff Gonzalez, Grigsby and her 21-year-old son allegedly preyed on local high school students, who were reported runaways, by offering them a place to stay. But the place to stay was a hotel room, and the offer for help came at a dangerous price.
As KPRC Houston reported, Police found text messages between Grigsby, her son and three of her alleged victims, between the ages of 15 and 17, in which they discussed payments for acts of prostitution. And according to the sheriff, these three students are not alone.
