President-elect Donald J. Trump has found exactly the right person to lead the Department of Agriculture. Brooke Rollins will bring a depth of experience and a track record of excellence to her new assignment as Secretary of Agriculture. Her leadership will improve the lives and livelihoods of millions of Americans.
Brooke’s background is almost perfect for the agriculture assignment. She grew up on a farm. She was active in 4H and Future Farmers of America. She became a state officer in FFA.
She went on to Texas A&M where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Development (cum laude). She was also the first woman elected as President of the student body in A&M history.
